Spirit Guide Basics

Introduction
A Little Bit About This Book:
This book has a very special place in my heart. I had a chunk of help from a spirit guide that came to me mostly to help me with my writing.
He would help me and slightly take over when I started to pass out while I was writing the original class outline.
While he has moved on to other things…I appreciate his help and counsel while I was starting out.
And his no-nonsense encouragement, of course.
*Funny enough, he also critiqued a couple of my husband Dennis’s plays…now that was wild because I have zero background in theater or theater writing. My husband was shocked!
So, this originally started out as my Spirit Guide 101 class handout, then evolved to my Spirit Guide Basics class handout.
I always aimed for this to be a traditional physical book, but it just never felt like it was quite finished.
I just wasn’t quite feeling right about doing the traditional publishing on it simply because there was always more to say on a subject…and yes, I know that’s what more books are for.But a lot of the stuff…well, I feel that it belongs in THIS book.
After seven very interesting years of teaching the classes and answering questions…and realizing that I tend to skip over things that I feel “everyone” knows (no…no one knows it, and that’s just how my brain works, lols)…the idea of making it into a book came up again (I had picked it up and sat it back down several times; life has a habit of getting in the way like that), and the idea of a living book came about.
And that was the aha moment, so to speak.
That was what felt right.
So now, I am writing this as a living book—a section-by-section release, kind of like a webnovel (been writing those too)—and once I am at a good stopping point on THIS chunk of Spirit Guide Basics, I will turn it into a printed book…and ebook. :D
Then I will move on to the next chunk of Spirit Guide Basics or Spirit Guides 202.
Now, this book is set up to answer the questions that I have gotten so, so many times from my clients.
The information and knowledge within these pages comes from my work with my clients, as well as my work with my family, friends, loved ones, and my own personal experiences, all in dealings with spirit guides.
*Deity communication is a whole other subject—and yes, I am writing about that too…but I don’t think it will get its own book…although I might surprise myself. We shall see.
I have written this in as plain and easy-to-understand language as possible, as I don’t believe that a book that is supposed to answer your questions and teach you a subject should be chock-full of fancy 10-dollar words…I feel it should convey its message and do its job without the frills, pomp, and ridiculousness that fills a good chunk of the books that I find today.
(That silliness makes recommending books so difficult nowadays. It’s a shame too; I love doing book recommendation lists!)
I also don’t feel that a book designed to teach you one subject in particular should have all kinds of other fluff in it to fill out page numbers…so you won’t be finding herbal remedies or mirror spells in this book…unless they actually relate to the subject or an example or an experience.
—Or unless I end up rambling, which, fair warning…it will happen.—
*Those will be in other books, articles, and magazines. This one is strictly for people who want to know about spirit guides—be it beginner or curious person.
Happy Reading, Happy Learning!
