for your interest in becoming one of the featured artists in the Des Moines New Age Shop Artwork Marketplace. Our goal is to create a professionally curated collection of original artwork inspired by spirituality, mythology, folklore, symbolism, nature, and metaphysical exploration while supporting independent artists and providing meaningful artwork for our community.

Submission of artwork does not guarantee acceptance. Artwork is reviewed for quality, originality, and how well it fits the vision of the Artwork Shop. Acceptance into the marketplace is at the sole discretion of Des Moines New Age Shop.

Artist Submission Requirements

All submitted artwork must be:

• 100% original artwork created entirely by the submitting artist.

• Owned by the submitting artist.

• Free from copyright infringement.

• Family friendly and appropriate for all ages.

• Suitable for a diverse spiritual and educational community.

• Created without the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI-generated artwork is not accepted).

• Free of fan art or copyrighted characters, logos, or intellectual property.

• Free of explicit nudity or sexually explicit material.

• Free of hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or offensive content.

• Free of political campaigning, propaganda, or political advertising.

• Free of illegal drug promotion or related imagery.

• Professionally presented and suitable for public display.

Artwork Specifications

Please submit artwork using the following standards:

Accepted File Types

• PNG (Preferred)

• JPG (Maximum Quality)

Resolution

Minimum Resolution:

300 DPI

​

Recommended Print Sizes

8 x 10
2400 × 3000 pixels

​

Higher resolutions are welcome.

Color Profile

• sRGB Preferred

• Adobe RGB Accepted

Artwork should not contain:

• Watermarks

• Visible copyright overlays

• Borders intended for printing

• Signatures that interfere with the artwork

Quality Standards

Artwork should be professionally finished.

Submissions may be declined if they include:

• Poor quality scans

• Blurry images

• Camera glare

• Folded or damaged artwork

• Heavy JPEG compression

• Distracting backgrounds

• Poor lighting

• Incomplete artwork

Artist Photos

Please include:

• One artist headshot or business logo.

• Three to ten examples of your artwork.

These images may be used on your artist profile and for promotional purposes.

Pricing

Artwork pricing is standardized throughout the marketplace to provide a consistent customer experience.

Retail pricing is determined by Des Moines New Age Shop.

Artists are welcome to provide pricing suggestions; however, final retail pricing is established by Des Moines New Age Shop.

Revenue Sharing

Revenue from each artwork sale is divided as follows:

50% Artist

50% Des Moines New Age Shop

Payments will be issued monthly for all completed sales.

Copyright & Licensing

The artist retains full copyright ownership of all submitted artwork.

By participating in the Artwork Marketplace, the artist grants Des Moines New Age Shop a non-exclusive license to:

• Display artwork on the website.

• Sell digital downloads.

• Create product listings.

• Produce promotional graphics.

• Use artwork for advertising and social media.

• Display thumbnails and preview images.

This agreement does not transfer copyright ownership.

Artists remain free to sell their artwork elsewhere.

Marketing

Des Moines New Age Shop may feature accepted artwork through:

• Website promotions

• Blog articles

• Social media

• Email newsletters

• Printed promotional materials

• Event advertising

Removal of Artwork

Either party may terminate participation in the Artwork Marketplace with thirty (30) days written notice.

Des Moines New Age Shop reserves the right to remove artwork immediately if it no longer meets marketplace quality standards or violates the terms of this agreement.

Artist Responsibilities

The artist certifies that:

• They are the creator of all submitted artwork.

• They own all rights necessary to sell the artwork.

• The artwork does not violate copyright or trademark laws.

• The artwork complies with all marketplace guidelines.

• Any reference material used has been appropriately licensed or created by the artist.

Des Moines New Age Shop Responsibilities

Des Moines New Age Shop agrees to:

• Maintain professional product listings.

• Process customer orders.

• Deliver digital downloads.

• Provide customer service.

• Promote the Artwork Marketplace.

File Naming

Please use the following naming convention:

ArtistName_Title_Size

Acceptance

Submission of artwork does not guarantee acceptance into the Artwork Marketplace.

Des Moines New Age Shop reserves the right to accept or decline artwork for any reason, including but not limited to quality, originality, technical standards, or compatibility with the mission and values of the marketplace.
