In-Shop Psychic Reading Parties

 

In-Shop Psychic Reading Parties are held at Des Moines New Age Shop & Community Center and are currently available on weekends only.

The special party rate is $35 per paid guest, with a minimum of 5 paid guests. Once the five-person paid minimum has been met, the party organizer receives one complimentary reading of the same length as the guest readings.

Each guest receives an individual reading of up to 15 minutes.

The five-person minimum must be paid in advance to reserve the party date and time. Additional guests may be added in advance, subject to available time.

The party organizer serves as the primary contact for the group and is responsible for coordinating the reservation, final guest count, and payment.

The complimentary organizer reading has no cash value, cannot be substituted for one of the five required paid readings, and is nontransferable.

Event Reader Appearances

Event Reader Appearances are designed for fairs, festivals, open houses, markets, business events, organized celebrations, and other approved venues where guests purchase their own readings during the event.

The standard appearance fee is $150 for up to two hours. This fee reserves the reader's time and must be paid in advance.

Additional time may be reserved for $75 per hour, subject to availability and advance approval.

Guest readings are purchased separately during the event. The appearance fee does not guarantee any particular number of guest readings or sales.

Event Reader Appearances are currently available on weekends only and all locations are subject to approval.

Private residential bookings are not currently available.

The event organizer is responsible for providing an appropriate location for the reader, including adequate space, seating, reasonable lighting, and an environment in which readings can be conducted safely.

Reservations & Payment

A reservation is not considered confirmed until the required payment has been received and the date and time have been approved.

Submitting payment without prior approval does not guarantee availability. If a requested date or event cannot be accommodated, we will contact the purchaser regarding available options or a refund.

Additional guests, additional hours, or other changes to an existing reservation must be approved in advance.

Scheduling & Time

Please plan your group or event carefully when selecting your reservation time.

Late arrival does not automatically extend the scheduled booking. Guests who arrive too late to receive their reading within the reserved party time may forfeit their reading.

For Event Reader Appearances, requests to extend the appearance on the day of the event are subject to reader availability and must be paid before the additional time begins.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Because party and appearance reservations set aside a substantial block of time, advance notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Requests to reschedule are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

No-shows and last-minute cancellations may result in forfeiture of some or all prepaid booking fees.

If Des Moines New Age Shop & Community Center must cancel a confirmed booking, the organizer will be offered the choice of rescheduling or receiving a refund of the affected prepaid service.

Guest Conduct & Reader Discretion

We want everyone involved to have a comfortable and respectful experience.

Guests who are excessively disruptive, threatening, abusive, or visibly too intoxicated or impaired to participate appropriately may be refused a reading.

The reader reserves the right to end or leave an event if conditions become unsafe, threatening, significantly different from those represented when the appearance was booked, or otherwise unsuitable for providing services.

Event organizers are responsible for maintaining an appropriate and reasonably safe environment for the duration of an Event Reader Appearance.

Age Requirements

Guests under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to receive a reading. Additional restrictions may apply depending on the type of reading requested.

Larger Groups & Special Events

Groups requiring more time, multiple readers, special arrangements, or a larger event setup may require a custom quote and are subject to reader and staff availability.
