Celestial Happenings of 2025

Today,

I will be giving a brief rundown on some of the major events gracing our skies in 2025! 

When I say brief, I mean as brief as I can be as there is quite a bit to cover. 

We have planetary retrogrades, eclipses, meteor showers, the Lunar new year and even a comet! 

Now, 

Many folks cringe when they hear the term retrograde, eclipse, and so on...some simply because they find all things metaphysical cringey, but for the most part it is due to the connotation that some celestial events are inherently negative. 

Celestial events are neither inherently positive nor negative, they simply ARE.  

Celestial events are not something to blame when things go buggy, they are a roadmap that allows us to understand the cycles and timing on our journey of life. It is up to us to be quick-witted enough to use it to our advantage. 

Since we have quite a few of them this year, quick note on planetary retrogrades: 

Retrogrades operate a bit like an Oreo cookie - 

The first shadow zone (a week or two before the actual retrograde, this is when the areas that will be overhauled in your life become known... so a warning) 

the actual retrograde when the issue that retrograde is tackling becomes the main focus 

The second shadow zone, when the issue or issues that the retrograde affected resolve themselves whether you are ready for it or not. 

Retrogrades give us a chance to slow down and take a breath, and sometimes to air out grievances and issues that we would not speak about without a tremendous celestial push. Each planet has its own unique rhythm, longer or shorter, farther apart or nearer together retrogrades. Everything in the sky has its place & cycle, which is kind of nice amidst how chaotic life can feel sometimes. 

All that said, let us dive into the meat of the subject! 

(There will be other Celestial Happenings but for the sake of brevity I will cover those in other articles & my vodcast as we come closer to the events) 

I will start out with a list of the larger events. 

 They are listed in order of start date. 

Uranus Retrograde- Sept. 1st, 2024, through Jan. 30th, 2025 

Jupiter RX(Retrograde)- Oct. 9th through February 4th, 2025 

Mars RX- Dec. 7th, 2024, through Feb. 24th, 2025 

Quadrantid Meteor Shower- Jan. 3rd peak 

Comet G3 ATLAS- Jan. 13th peak 

Chinese New Year of the Snake- Jan. 29th, 2025, to Feb. 16th, 2026 

Venus RX March 2nd through April 13th 

Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse- March 13th & 14th 

Mercury Retrograde- March 15th to April 7th 

Partial Solar Eclipse- March 29th 

The Lyrids Meteor Shower- April 21st & 22nd 

The Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower- May 3rd & 4th 

Pluto RX May 4th Through Oct. 13th 

Neptune Retrograde July 4th to Dec. 10th 

Saturn RX July 13th through Nov. 28th 

Mercury Retrograde July 18th to Aug. 11th Southern Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower- July 29th & 30th 

Alpha Capricornid Meteor Shower July 29th & 30th 

Chiron RX July 30th, 2025, through Jan. 2nd, 2026 

Perseids Meteor Shower- Aug. 12th & 13th 

Uranus Retrograde- Sept. 6th, 2025, to Feb. 4th, 2026 

Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse- Sept. 7th & 8th 

Partial Solar Eclipse- Sept. 21st 

Supermoon (Hunters Moon)- Oct. 7th 

Orionids Meteor Shower- Oct. 22nd & 23rd 

Southern Taurids Meteor Shower- Nov. 3rd & 4th 

Supermoon (Beaver Moon)- Nov. 5th 

Northern Taurids Meteor Shower- Nov. 8th & 9th 

Mercury Retrograde- Nov. 9th to Nov. 29th Jupiter RX(Retrograde)- Nov. 11th through March 11th, 2026 

Leonids Meteor Shower- Nov. 16th & 17th 

Supermoon (Cold Moon)- Dec. 4th 

Geminids Meteor Shower- Dec. 12th & 13th 

Ursids Meteor Shower- Dec. 21st & 22nd 

Now for the interpretation: 

We are starting off the year in a Mars retrograde which we also saw during the holidays, making people more irritable and less patient than they would otherwise be, this is a hallmark of Mars going retrograde.  

But this also gave us a venue to air out our issues with one another, which if all parties were wise and patient - then it would be a wonderful opportunity to come to a greater resolution and understanding with one another.  

If they are not... then it may have been time to give each other a bit of distance anyway. 

Honestly, after 2024's trials and tribulations, everyone has found some patience and grace for others and themselves. Cosmic character development in the form of struggles. 

Mars Retrograde blends with the Jupiter & Uranus retrograde from 2024 to give us a revolutionary outlook, wanting to see change and coming smack dab up against Jupiter retrogrades penchant for slowing down momentum and causing delays. Also causing extra grumpiness. 

Then we have Comet G3 ATLAS saying Hello mid-January. 

Now, Comets which were once thought of as harbingers of war and doom, have been more carefully analyzed to foretell times of dramatic change.  

This coupled with the fact that this event will occur in the same month that the Lunar New Year switches out its energies tells me that this will be a big year for transformation and change, 2024's roller coaster ride is not over yet! 

January 29th, we see the Eastern New Year of the Wood Snake (Yin energy) - a year for resourcefulness! 

 This year brings transformative & introspective energy to a year that will continue the "Shedding" of our old skin theme that we all saw so much of in 2024(Wood Dragon year, Yang energy). 

This will be a year to make use of our intuition and begin building a great life, with some hard work and cunning.  

In the year of the Snake, it is important to maintain our integrity and not take advantage of others but also not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of.  

We roll straight into a Venus Retrograde in March, but we will feel the effects in February. Venus retrograde encourages us to yank those rose-colored glasses off and see EVERYTHING and everyone for who and what they truly are... whether it hurts our feelings or not.  

Also, as a side note to all the Taurian's and Librans out there, hang onto your wallet! Especially Taurian's, this retrograde will make you want to spend yourself into the poorhouse. So, hide your wallet and make a budget that you can stick to.  

This will also see the first Mercury retrograde of 2025, so communication and travel and tech issues will abound.  

Sliding in right alongside the Venus and Mercury retrogrades is a blood moon lunar eclipse and then a partial solar eclipse, which brings that "rip away anything that no longer serves us" energy. Which pairs nicely with pulling off rose colored glasses. Cleansing and releasing energies all around. 

The middle of the year will see three retrogrades coincide that will mean things will get more challenging for us. 

Now do not groan! 

Remember what I said about a roadmap. This simply means that we need to have our plans in place and be ready to hunker down and work harder for a bit. We also need to be very gentle and compassionate with ourselves and others at this time.  

We will see A Saturn (Work 10 times harder to get what you want done, but it will be worth it in the end), A Pluto (Shadow work, abuse of power coming to light, etc.) and a Chiron retrograde (Whatever wounds you harbor will be brought up , and if the wounds are buried deeply enough you could partially relive the circumstances that brought the wounds to begin with. Chiron is the wounded healer after all.) That all intersect.  

With the second Mercury Retrograde of the year and a Neptune retrograde tossed into the mix to make sure that absolutely nobody understands what anyone else is going through, but they have an overload of psychic information about it and everything else. It is definitely a time for grace and slowing down into lower gear and releasing any information that doesn't serve you personally. 

These roll us into another Uranus Retrograde, another Jupiter retrograde and a couple more Eclipses, snuggled up to the third and final Mercury retrograde of the year. 

So, in this case I would say to let the cleansing energy of the eclipses blend with the revolutionary energy of Uranus RX into something unique - so long as we stay in our integrity which can be really hard with all that is going on.  

Jupiter RX will allow the powers that be to slow us down just enough so as we do not get too overly crazy so long as we embrace its energy and accept it for what it is. The universe working to balance everything in our favor. 

Along the way throughout the year, we will have several Meteor showers to look forward to (They remind us that we never truly walk alone no matter how challenging times become) and a few Supermoons to be mindful of. 

Each Super Moon and Meteor shower has its own unique energy, but for the sake of brevity, I will write and do videos on each as they come up.  

In short, I will say that every time a meteor shower comes up, think of it as the divine coming closer to us and reminding us that we are not alone.... even in the toughest times. Does this make them a little more reassuring?  

They are also historically linked to times of great transformation and change, extraordinary moments if you will. They are symbols of connection and divine guidance and are wonderful times for manifesting goals, hopes, dreams, and wishes. It is also said that they act as a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms. 

Example: The first meteor shower of the year, the Quadrantids. These represent our deepest desires & aspirations. Their appearance is an opportunity to manifest those desires and change our lives for the better. What a wonderful celestial gift for the new year! 

Well, depending on exactly WHAT you are manifesting. You definitely want to keep it positive! 

Also, keep in mind that around the holiday season this year we a bunch of Meteor Showers. So, it looks like some wishes are going to come true! 

Supermoons (when the full moon is closest to Earth) have a habit of creating a bit of havoc.  

Each has their own individual energy, but they feel a bit different every time. They boost energy and make emotions more intense, the sign that each of these happens in will give an idea of how their particular intensity will manifest. 

Supermoons are wonderful for helping us focus on our dreams, goals, and desires. They also help with manifestation. On the flip side, they can be a humdinger for pulling away that which does not serve us, a softer version of the eclipses. 

All of this said,  

 keep in mind that every celestial phenomenon has both pros and cons. It is up to us to make use of the roadmap that the stars give us in order to help us live our best lives. I never like to blame the planets, but I always appreciate their help!
